Our program provides an exciting, non-contact way for boys and girls to learn and enjoy the game of football. With a focus on fun, teamwork, and skill development, our league ensures players of all abilities have the opportunity to succeed and grow in a positive environment.

We offer a structured yet engaging experience that helps young athletes build their confidence while mastering the fundamentals of flag football. From passing and catching to strategy and teamwork, our league emphasizes the importance of sportsmanship and collaboration on and off the field.

Key Features of Youth Flag Football:

• Non-Contact Play: Instead of tackling, players wear flags attached to their waists. To stop a play, defenders simply pull the flag from the ball carrier. This keeps the game safe and enjoyable for everyone.

• Team Size and Field: Games are played with smaller teams, usually 5 to 7 players on each side, on a smaller field that is 80 yards long. This makes it easier for young players to get involved in the action.

• Inclusive and Coed: Our league is coed, meaning boys and girls play together. This promotes teamwork and inclusivity, making sure everyone has a chance to participate and have fun.

• Skill Development: Youth flag football focuses on teaching basic football skills like passing, catching, running with the ball, and defensive strategies. It's a great way to learn the game and improve athletic abilities.

• Simplified Rules: The rules are easy to understand, making it simple for kids to pick up the game quickly. This includes basic rules for passing, scoring, and pulling flags.

• Emphasis on Fun and Sportsmanship: The main goal is to have fun! We encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude both on and off the field.

Our games are played on an 80-yard field. Each session includes both a short practice and a game, all taking place at the same location to ensure convenience for families.

​Registration Information​ Spring 2025

• Registration: January 2025- April 2025 | Opens in January 2025

• Next Season Starts: Saturday, April 12, 2025

• $99.99 for ages 4/5 (One time payment)

• $99.99 for ages 6-11 (One time payment)

• NFL Flag Jersey included with registration

• Registration is taken on an individual basis. Online registration is available (debit/credit cards accepted)

• Open to all residents and non-residents 

• Each player pays a registration fee to enter (payable at registration)

• Ready Set Sports will place players on teams based on age

• Leagues are subject to close-out prior to the last day of signups
